What's new?

Now that Evey has hit the 1 year old mark she's busy doing a lot more! She knows many words like: dada, daddy, momma, hi, bye, dog that has now turned into gog, nanna for banana or food in general, ga for gramma, uh oh, mah or mouth, and the one we don't really care for..... NO. It's so fun to hear her communicating with us and each day that she says something new, we jump for joy! How exciting! She's also signing more and "all done" by wiping her hands together. We use this one a lot to ask her "are you all done?" at mealtimes. She also shakes her head no when we ask her if she wants more of something. She also still loves to wave hi and bye to everyone! Oh and she also points a lot to show us what she wants. It's so cute!

Evey does a lot of funny things now too. For months she's loved to lift mom and dads shirts to blow rasperries or zerberts on our bellies.... but now she like to do it to everyone! Like the other night we were at Baskin Robbins to get and icey treat and we let her down to walk around and say hi to some other patrons... and she walked up to a family and said hi to a mom that was sitting in a chair.... then she proceeded to lift the back of the womans shirt to give her a zerbert!! In shock I ran to her and said that we only do that to mom and dad.... thankfully the mom didn't mind and also thought it was quite funny. We were cracking up! She's constantly making funny gestures and making mom and dad laugh! She's a social butterfly and loves to talk to everyone. She's rarely too shy to talk or go to anyone.... even strangers! eek!

She loves school and hanging out with her friends. It's rare for her to cry when mom and dad drop her off because she's always so excited to go play with her buds.

She loves reading books and listening to music. Whenever she hears tunes she either sways back and forth or bounces on her feet or tooshie! She loves to play pat-a-cake and clap to fun songs. Soon enough she'll be counting and singing the ABC's!

Her favorite food.... cherios... for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Here she is with an oreo mustache! She's also in her new big girl carseat which dad is moving forward facing this week! She weighs in at about 20 pounds now too! It's crazy how quick our bean is growing up!!
