This week daddy put up a swing in our big tree in the front yard. This was a swing that was given to us by Rusty's sister Ellie who used it for her kids when they were small. It's perfect. Our tree is huge so Rusty had to borrow a really big ladder to get the job done! After about an hour we were ready to try it out! Evey loves her new swing. We usually use it about twice a day. Eventually we'll have to invest in a cool kid swing set play house ..... but I think we have a little time.Evey is doing wonderful! She's really starting to crawl a lot now. She does an army crawl frontwards and backwards, and does this bouncing position on all 4's, but I think she's still nervous to move her knees and arms at the same time. I bet she'll be moving in a week or two! Evey also loves to stand and walk with a bit of help. She can now pull herself up on things like mom, and the couch, and has figured out how to sit up from the laying down position! Many times we go in to get her from a nap and she's sitting straight up or on all 4's. She's a movin' machine!
Evey has developed a new attitude. When we try to put her in her carseat, bebe pod or somewhere she doesn't want to be, she arches her back and flexes those legs and and resists any attempt we have at controlling her. She lets us know exactly how she feels with a few squeels and squacks. It's really quite commical to watch her in action! Her personality is definitely starting to shine through. She's so fun. Laughing and singing and yelling are her favorite things now. When we're talking and she wants a peice of the conversation, she pipes up and trys to get a word in! The louder we get, the louder she gets! She also LOVES music. We play a variety of music at home and in the car and she just loves to sing along. Life with Evey is a blast!
Here are a few new pics of Evey and momma. I look the same in all of them, but Evey was more than excited to be getting her photo taken! She was bouncing and laughing and waving her arms at the camera. I'm so glad we can capture these special moments on film. LOVE YOU LIL' BUG!

I saw the video yesterday on YouTube! Super cute! We don't have any trees big enough around us. We'd have to hang a swing from our deck! There are people in our sub that have done that.

grammie loved watching the utube of miss E swinging!!! Her attempts at crawling reminds me of when you Onawa.. you did a leap frog kind of thing for awhile and then when you got it down we could not keep up with you... put your running shoes on mom and dad "O)
