11 Weeks: Happy Girl!

Evey is just too cool! We are loving her more and more every day! She's so fun to have around and we never get tired of her! Back in the day, I used to be fearful of being a parent. Afraid of the long nights and cries that never ended.... but we haven't had to battle much of that yet. She is such a great baby. She's calm most of the time except for the usual tired or hungry shouts and usually she can soothe herself..... which she rarely has to do because we hold her so much! We can't get enough of this kid!
Evey is growing bigger every day! Her little legs are so chubby and getting strong. Evey loves to stand up now. She laughs and coo's as soon as you help her to her feet. She loves to bounce and in the bath she loves to splash while kicking those legs. Soon we'll be taking her to some baby swim lessons at the Y. So far she LOVES the water so we want to take advantage of it and get her swimmin'! Outdoor pools here in OKC are all now open too, so we plan to take her outside with lots of sunscreen lathered on!
Our new thing this week is we've been putting little ribbon bows in her hair. When I was getting my hair cut, one of the stylists gave us a valauble tip: Kayro Syrup Put a dab on the bow and stick it to baby's head and it sticks like glue. Yup! And it comes out with a little warm water. It's true. We'll put a bow in her hair in the am and it will still be in by bed time! Now we have her wearing bows every day! She is so cute!
