10 Weeks: First Shots :(

Time is quickly passing us by and Evey is now 10 weeks old! On Friday we both took Evey in for her 2 month appointment and she got 5 immunizations, 1 oral and 4 shots. It was a hard one for mom and dad. Evey was strong though and only cried for about 4 minutes or so .... a red faced, breathless 4 minutes.... then it was all over. Momma cuddled and nursed her back to her happy place and all was forgotten. It was hard to see her in such pain. We've only seen her cry that hard one other time. The night she was born the nurse gaver her a bath and she was livid! Eveyanna weighs in at 12 lbs 3.5oz and she's now 23 inches long. She's in the 75th percentile so she's a bit big right now but very healthy!

This week we had some visitors from Montana come to Oklahoma. Our friend Justin had his parents come visit and they got to meet Evey for the first time! We all had a nice afternoon together. It was so nice to see some friends from up north !!

Our great friend Natalie is watching Evey every Tuesday morning now. It's wonderful because she lives just a few minutes from us so she either watches her here or at their house. She is such a blessing to us and we really appreciate her helping us out!! THANKS NATALIE!!

Here are some great new pictures of Evey. One of her riding her puppy Ruby and the other of her sleeping tonight as we were cooking dinner. It was too cute. She had her hands covering her eyes and stayed in this position for about 30 minutes!
