11 Months Old: Someone looks like mama!

Evey looks like her mama! Here we are eating pasta at 11 months old! I had to put the two pics together to show the similarities. She is much cuter though!!!

Evey is changing so much. Today she took 5 steps towards me! Just out of the blue she came towards me! She was so proud of herself and we grabbed the camera and got it on film! She's taken the occasional 2-3 steps, but 5 today.... that was a huge deal! I bet she'll be walking by 1 year... which is just a few weeks away. I can't believe it! Time is flying by us all! She's almost walking, talking a bunch, her bottom 2 teeth are in, her top 2 teeth are almost in, she loves reading books and more! She's a social butterfly. She loves to wave and say hi to everyone she comes in contact with. It's so cute! I love that she's so friendly... not like mom and dad at all! Her hair is finally long enough to have a cute little ponytail on the top of her head now too!

Another new thing that's happened to Eveyanna is that she's formed a bit of an attitude! Now she notices when mom's not in the room or walks away, when you take something away from her that she still wants or something's just not going her way... she throws a fit and screams to the top of her lungs! It huts your ears if you're too close. It's been a bit shocking to the both of us that our sweet little bean has turned into a stinker, but we knew it would be coming sooner or later. She's a real firecracker!

Evey starts school on March 3rd, it's actually a children's-day-out program where you can enroll your child for 3 days a week from 9-2 at different churches in the area. We're really excited to have her in a real school! She'll love being around other kids her age. I think it's going to be great for her and it works out great for our schedules. She'll actually only be there 1 day a week for 2 months and a neighbor across the street will have her the other two days.

Life just keeps getting more interesting and fun with Evey every day! We love her so much!
