On labor day weekend me and Evey went on our big trip to Post Falls Idaho to visit family. My sister and her family and my mom live there. The flights there we pretty uneventful, except for a little bit of fussiness
on Evey's part on the first 2 hour flight. She was also unknowingly spitting on the passengers in front of us, but they didn't seem to mind and she had her regular toots which seemed much more pungent on a small flight like the one we were on! My mom, sister and niece Emily came to pick us up and boy oh boy were they happy to see her! We had more family come to surprise us on
Saturday morning. Great Grammie Rose, Uncle Frank and his kids Shelby and Jake and Franks finace Rhonda. They all came to meet Evey and to throw me and Shelby a surprise Birthday BBQ! It was fun to see everyone and I think Evey was glad to meet her extended family! We pretty much just lounged around and enjoyed eachother the whole weekend.
On Monday we did go to Kellog and took the Gondola ride and chairlift to the top of the mountain. It was beautiful. I forgot how much I missed the north and all it's beauty. It was hard to leave our family. I was so glad for my sisters kids to meet Evey especially. They couldn't keep thier hands off of her. Evey just loved the kids and rarely fussed for them.... she knows that she is one of them... so cute!
Thanks to all of our family for treating us so good while we were home! We miss you already!
Oh and one more thing... our flight back wasnt' so smooth. After a 4 scheduled layover in Salt Lake, bad weather set in and 4 hours turned into 9. Let's just say I almost lost it along with 200 other people. Poor Evey
didn't want to sleep, eat or sit still... poor thing was stretched to the max. We were almost grounded, but luckily we made it home by 3:30am that morning! Ugggg! It was a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG day! (it was still well worth it to see everyone! :))

it was so good to see you both... and Evey is SOOOOO beautiful, just like her momma!! She is such a petite little thing.. she looks so much bigger in the pics...the visit was so great... can't wait to come down there again to visis and have you all to myself again... that is THE bestest!! Everyone sure enjoyed seeing you all! Grammie loves you Evey!!
