On her birthday, we went to the mall to play at the park and take a ride on the carousel! It was so cute to watch her sitting there in awe....she was a bit confused at first, like "what's going on?" but then she began having a blast! We even got a free ride when some other kids came up after us and there was an extra seat open! Can you believe it costs a whole dollar to ride those things now? Remember when we were kids in the 70's and 80's and it was only like .25? Inflation sucks.
Anyhow, we had a blast!

They still have penny horses at one of the grocery stores here, but arcades don't even use quarters anymore. They give you credit card things that you load with money so you have no idea how much you're wasting on the crappy games! " )
