10 MONTHS OLD! :46 Weeks: She's getting Big!

Evey won't stop growing!! It seems like she was born just yesterday and now she's nearly 1! In 2 months we'll be celebrating that magical first birthday! Wow. This year seems like a wonderful dream. We have enjoyed her so much and look forward to lots of great experiences with our little angel!

New things Evey's been doing:
She talks like a mad woman! Words she speaks: Dada (her favorite and most said word), Mama, HI (2nd favorite word that comes with a wave every time!), Dog ( comes out as DIG), Banana (pronounced NANA), Bye, Uh oh, and we swear she's saying Oliver... one of our dogs names. She also nods her head to say NO NO alot too... when she knows she's doing something she's not supposed to. Evey is quite personable. She is constantly waving HI to every person we see, stuffed animal we have, pictures on the fridge and around the house, when she wakes, when she goes to sleep... ALL THE TIME. "HI" with a wave. It truely is the cutest thing I've ever seen or heard and it melts my heart each and every time! She loves people. So far she's only been afraid to go to about 2-3 different people for unknown reasons. She isn't all that clingy to me or Rusty uless she's teething or very tired. We're so pleased that she loves people so much. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree as they say. She's so fun to be around. Grumpy at times I suppose, but it's rare. She loves her routine and her binky.

Evey's got her crawl down pat. She's now brave enough to let go of supports and will stand alone for breif moments, but we haven't seen her take her first step yet. She's close. I'm actually hoping she'll atleast wait til she's 1! It's hard enough keeping up with her as it is! We have hard wood floors in most of the house, so she does have red bruised knees most of the time, but it doesn't seem to phase her. She's a tough Linden! She still loves bathtime and swimming with momma on Friday nights at the YMCA. She also loves her puppies and her morning breakfasts with dad. They eat nana's and cherio's while watching their favorite program Sesame Street. Oh, her favorite song now is B.I.N.G.O., yes the one about the dog. She claps her hands and bounces (dances) to it everytime. She loves to read books with mom and dad as long as she gets to do all the page turning. She loves to be scared by daddy when he surprises her by coming around the corner growling and chasing her. She quickly turns the other way and crawls as fast as she can while laughing then flailing her arms when he catches her! It's the cutest. Oh and she loves to say hi and wave to the monitor while dad talks into it from the other room. At first it scared her,but now it just facinates her!

I could go on and on about our sweet lil' Evey. We LOVE being her parents! It's been the best 10 months of our lives! Thanks miss Evey! We love you so so much!
