31 Weeks: Our Birthing Class

Here are some pics of the bare crib and the belly.

We are 31 weeks along now! This is going by so quickly! We are almost to 8 months this SUNDAY! Goodness our baby is getting big and chubby! She is close to 4lbs now. I am now experiencing her kicking me so hard it makes me JUMP! I love it though! We moved into our house and we finally have a crib put up for our sweet baby girl. We're working on decorating and grammy is sewing the quilt, bumper, curtains etc for her room. Can't wait to see the finished product! I am just feeling a bit stressed to get it all done right now. She could technically come in 6 weeks, but we're planning on her staying in until 40 wks. We want her well baked!!

We had our first birthing class last week. We go every week on Thursdays and it's really fun. There are about 12 other couples who are all due within a month of us. It's fun to be around other expecting parents! Oh, we did get a flat tire on the turnpike on our way to the class so we missed the first hour which was bummer, but we still had fun! On Saturday we go to our BABY CPR class, then in a few weeks we take our nursing class. Its all so fun! WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!!!!!

Hi Onawa, it's been a blast reading your blog and catching up on this new and exciting time in your life! I am also pregnant (26 weeks) and can totally relate to your stories. We'll be having the baby here in Germany, so there's a whole whack of new things to continue learning just cause of that, as if there wasn't enough to think about already-! Praying your pregnancy continues well and I'm excited to check back for future updates!
